The kit contains all necessary items for routine printer maintenance:
- 4 Printhead Cleaning Swabs: These are pre-moistened with 99.99% isopropyl alcohol and are used to gently clean the delicate printhead and other internal areas. HID Global recommends using them every 1,000 prints.
- 10 Adhesive Cleaning Cards: These are designed for cleaning the printer's rollers and platen, removing dust and debris as they pass through the card path.
- 10 Cleaning Pads: These are for general cleaning of the printer's interior surfaces and control panel.
- 3 Alcohol Cleaning Cards: These long, pre-moistened cards are used for a deeper clean of the printer's magnetic head, platen, and feed rollers and are recommended for use every 3,000 prints.
